Noooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! Trust me, it's $7.49 for a VERY good reason! Just wait until Larva sees this thread..... Many shits will be flipped! Edit: I just checked, and saw that there have been two gigabyte patches since the last time I played the game and I've read some good things, I am going to test it out. ( I'm also hoping that this CD key I stole off the internet will work with the multiplayer because I don't feel like digging through boxes in the basement for mine )

 Re: Frontlines: Fuel of War
Geek, I've been to therapy so I'm finally over it now. From what I hear, the single player was extremely popular. And I heard it was a big hit on consoles for multi-player as well. They've patched the hell out of it and released expansion packs for free to try to make up for the buggy launch for PC multi-player. I'm a big fan of the talented developers at THQ, formerly of Trauma Studios who gave us the Desert Combat mod for BF1942, far surpassing vanilla in content and quality. I miss playing FFOW. We had fun playing the BETA. The urban maps are a lot of fun: Street is my favorite. If you want to set aside a night for this, I'd be up for it. For that price, it'd be worth it even if we only played it one night. I could get a few other guys to join us - who wouldn't want to get our money's worth out of our $50 investment back in the day! There is a LOT of cool content in the game. The gun emplacements are freaking awesome - snipers get a mini-gun turret.

Its going to take me all week to download, over 12 gigs? I had hardware probs when the beta was going on, so I'm kinda looking forward to seeing it in action.

 Re: Frontlines: Fuel of War
From what I've read the single player mission is worth that much.

i bought it and played it, and no complaints here. It actually plays on my computer better than BF2.

It's fun - it's got a lot of neat toys to play with.
I've been completely pre-occupied with the reunion event this Friday. After that is over I'd love to coordinate a night for a bunch of us to play some FFOW together. The way the game is designed, all of the contention occurs at the same points on the map, making it work even for a small number of players. All we would need is 6 of us.

Doc I had to d/l it twice to get it right. Also right click on it in your steam games list and 'verify' the files.
