  The Gamersradio Battalion |GRB| has recently celebrated our 5th anniversary as a gaming clan. In that time we have always strived to keep it fun, mature and to piss off Duck. Our intent with |GRB| was to be more than your typical clan, we hold gaming as our central theme that binds us together, but at the same time we have maintained top rated radio stations. At |GRB| you won’t see a lot of military style rankings, you won’t see military style rules of conduct; what you will see is a group of guys who like to hang out in our forums and chat about the crap that comes up in daily life. Love of music and gaming is why we are here.

At one time |GRB| was the premier website/clan for custom maps for the Battlefield series. Our members churned out some of the finest maps made for BF42, and BF Vietnam. You’ll see GRB custom maps in the Battlegroup Mod, TWL BFV Ladder and various other places. We also ran custom map night every Friday for years, this migrated into Friday Night Fights a tradition still followed today. Each Friday you can find a core group of our members gaming late into the night in the game that most strikes our fancy of late. In our years we have moved through many of the latest and greatest games for the PC, BF42, BFV, UT04, CS, CSS, BF2, TF2, ET:QW, COD4. We have also been beta testers for games and mods such as Frontlines: Fuel of War, EoD mod for BF2, BattleGroup 42. |GRB| has competed in the TWL ladders for several games and game modes, while competition is parting from our normal style of have fun gaming, many of us have found we enjoyed the ‘rush’ you get when the gaming means something. Our BF:V team was at one point ranked in the top 3 of the ladder.

Our original station on Live365.com was GR1, this was a heavy metal station that has top that category for years. A few years back our boy Sarge introduced GR2 (the punk phase), which quickly moved towards the top of the punk charts. We all enjoy music and use that as a way to pull us all together as well as gaming.

In closing we are a good group of guys, who have fun gaming together.
